Territory Sales (Outside Sales)

Territory: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas

General Markets: Oil & Gas, Automotive, Aerospace, General Industrial, Medical, Small/Medium Machine Shops


  • Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience. Knowledge of dot peen and laser marking technologies helpful, but not mandatory.
  • Able to actively penetrate and develop business opportunities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel the three-state territory. (overnight travel required)
  • Ability to identify prospective customers, key decision makers and set appointments to review and understand their marking requirements.
  • Have a track record of meeting/exceeding yearly quota.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the market segments and key geographic areas in the Territory.
  • Use and knowledge of CRM systems. Knowledge of Goldmine a plus.
  • Good mechanical and engineering aptitude.
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


  • Develop and execute a strategy for the Territory that will define key markets segments and geographic areas to increase sales and achieve targeted goals.
  • Define and contact customers, prospects, integrators and resellers in the defined strategic areas and markets.
  • Demonstrate marking solutions to the end users as part of the sales process, when required.
  • Daily use of Dapra's Goldmine software for contact details, scheduling and forecast sales.

Customer Service

This position is based out of Bloomfield, CT.

Dapra Corporation, a 60-year-old Bloomfield wholesale designer and distributor of high-quality industrial indexable milling cutting tools and permanent direct part marking equipment, seeks an experienced customer service representative. Heavy phone interaction with distributors, customers and outside sales personnel.

Responsibilities include quoting price and delivery, order entry, issuing quotations (verbal and oral, resolving customer questions and problems and general administrative duties. Knowledge of indexable carbide milling tools a plus!

Candidate must possess good keyboard skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; enjoy attention to detail; and be accurate in a fast-paced environment!

Candidate must have "customer excellence" and "customer driven" mindset and philosophy.

Competitive compensation with first-class benefit package including 401K and profit sharing plan.

Excel, Goldmine CRM and Prophet 21 distribution software knowledge a plus.

Must be open to small / mid-size, privately owned business culture and style. Attendance, reliability and dependability are mandatory requirements as well.
