Project Manager
This position is based out of Bloomfield, CT.
Dapra Marking Systems has been a leading provider of industrial marking solutions for over 20 years in the aerospace, automotive, petroleum and government business sectors. We are currently looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for quoting, designing and coordinating integration projects, writing special software and GUI’s, quoting and designing part fixtures and other value added components and quoting standard marking solutions.
The following knowledge base is required:
- Mechanical aptitude with competence in 3D modeling software. Experience using AutoCAD Inventor a plus.
- Ability to write software code using Visual Basic 6 and .NET platforms for GUI’s.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Excellent communication & organizational skills. Will work with inside sales, outside sales, end users and integrators.
- Travel required within North America.
- Experience with project management software.
The following knowledge base is not required but a plus:
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with industrial direct part marking systems, primarily Dot Peen Marking.
- Knowledge of marking lasers.
- Knowledge of PLC controls and I/O interfaces.
- Knowledge of Datamatrix (2D) readers and verifiers.
- Knowledge and use of Goldmine CRM software.
